About Me

I am a licensed clinical psychologist providing virtual therapy is most states across the U.S. I provide therapeutic services to children, adolescents, and adults, drawing on extensive training in both cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) and psychodynamic therapy. My expertise includes treating anxiety disorders, phobias, depression, obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD), Attention-deficit/hyperactivity disorder (ADHD), interpersonal and relationship challenges, grief and loss, and a wide range of trauma-related experiences.

Recognizing that each client has a unique history and set of challenges, I tailor treatment to meet individual needs, while emphasizing personal strengths. My approach begins with a comprehensive assessment of a client’s current difficulties, the impact on their daily functioning, and relevant past experiences. I work collaboratively with clients to define their goals and develop a personalized treatment plan. Central to my practice is creating a warm, supportive therapeutic environment where clients can explore their concerns, develop coping strategies, and foster meaningful change to enhance overall well-being.

I earned my Doctorate in Clinical Psychology from Long Island University (LIU) in NY, where I also served as a professor teaching psychology. In addition to CBT and psychodynamic therapy, my specialized training includes: dialectical behavior therapy (DBT); Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), which is an evidence-based treatment for individuals affected by trauma; as well as Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP)–which is the gold-standard treatment for OCD. Furthermore, I regularly use exposure therapy to effectively treat various anxiety disorders (e.g., social anxiety disorder, generalized anxiety disorder [GAD], illness anxiety disorder, etc.) and phobias (e.g., flying, insects, public speaking, etc.).

My clinical experience spans diverse settings, reflecting my commitment to providing accessible, high-quality mental health care. I’ve worked in hospitals, a college counseling center, residential treatment centers, and private practices, helping individuals across different stages of life. As the founder and clinical director of Northeast Psychological Wellness, a group private practice, I offer teletherapy to clients with a broad range of concerns, while also supervising and mentoring early-career therapists.

Through my clinical work, I remain deeply committed to helping individuals navigate life’s challenges with greater resilience and confidence.
